The Children’s Day
has always been an excuse for our organization to care about the children with special needs every year. On this day, we organized a little party for them and we provided the kids with special needs hundreds of pieces of gifts in that party. This start of this custom goes back to 2001 when I was in Jordan with Kurdish refugees at that time
“I remember as if it were yesterday, my mother came back with two presents, on for me and one for my brother. I was so happy that I thought my Dad had just come back to life”. Said one of the kids. “I was shopping with my mother as she pointed to someone and told me: that was the person who gave me the gifts for you and your brother. Do you believe that I still keep the gift and take care of it in my stuff!”. She continued.
