I dedicated the beginning of my activities to those children who suffer from cardiac diseases. I focused on helping them see cardiologists at the emergency hospital in Halabja province. The hospital is able to receive up to sixteen patients with cardiac diseases per week. I have also been able to provide up to forty wheelchairs for children with special needs.. I have visited one hundred and fifty four families that suffer from lack of medications and extremely need help. We have repaired twenty five wheelchairs for users with special needs. We provided some presents for those children who were born on March 16 and they were extremely happy about it. I reminded the children the tragedy of the chemical attack on Halabja in 1988 which left five thousand martyrs including men, women and children who were all innocent and completely defenseless. Up to one hundred and nine people who were in need of medical care had visited our office and we as an organization did not refrain from helping them in any possible way we could, although most of them were from outside Hlabja city like: Kalar, Darbandikhan, Penjwen and Sulaimani. We have been able to make it easy for up to two hundred and ninety seven children to see doctors or go to clinics and healthcare centers. We’ve humbly been able to provide portions food and drink for up to a hundred families of low income that at least each one had a kid with special needs. I have done interviews to NRT and Kurdistan TV to talk about our activities in Halabja and in Kurdistan in general.
